    Pix from Memphis Clanjamfey

This weekend I hosted the clan Skene booth at the Memphis Clanjamfry. Some folks that stopped by did so simply because they were interested in kilts. This gave me an opportunity to tell them about us here on the web. I gave them my personal contact card that has my Xmarks information on the back. We might get a few more members of our little "webclan" as a result. Here are some shots.

    Me at the booth

Parade rest at the trooping of the colours

With reps of clan Maclain at the private reception.

Some of you will recognize KiltedKop45, TnScot, yours truly & of course Sam the English Sheep Wonderdog

This young man had always been told he had Scottish heritage, but was never able to trace it. I helped him discover that he was of clan Donald. I also think he will become a Xmarker as soon as he gets his computer unpacked,& gets a net connection at his new house.

A nice set of pics, Dirk. Sorry I couldn't stay over for the gathering.

Excellent pics; hopefully your efforts will have brought in a few new recruits.

Great pics, Dirk. Sorry I missed it, but somebody had to body surf and lay on the beach all day. Might as well be me.

Good to see KiltedCop and TNScot there as well. I hope I get back up that way soon to see everybody again.

It's always nice to see your clan's tartan being worn by someone else -- the gentleman in the last two photos is wearing the Cumming hunting/Buchan District tartan (ancient colours) -- Dirk, do you have his contact info?

    Cheers,

    Todd

That would be me. I like my Cumming/ Buchan Kilt A LOT. I don't think I have any family association, but It is one of my favorite tartans. It's a heavy 8 yard tank pleated to the stripe and it looks GOOOOOOD!!!.
    Whata ya think?

I can't imagine what could have been said about me. All good I hope!

Those are some nice pics from church. And that is a very sharp looking tartan. I like that too.
