Looks like no MacNaughton tent this year, and if I don't heal up this pinched nerve that haa robbed my left ankle of all lateral strength I might not be throwing, either. Fingers crossed.

I'm in because I "volunteered" to help a convener set up a clan tent.

We will be there!
The Significant Other, the Little Celtic Dancer and I will be there.
With no MacNaughton tent, where will the XMTS rabble meet up? Any ideas??
There is the possibility that my brother will show up kilted but we're not sure yet on that one.
See Y'all there!

No MacNaughton tent? Can we set up something around the heavy games area then?

There's no pain, or only intermittent tingly aches when I sit too long in one position, so that's good. I got out on the grass on Monday night and moved around and threw a traffic cone just to see how the movements felt, and everything is fine with the possible exception of WFD. I notice that my left leg is a bit weaker than my right leg, so my WOB will suffer, but I don't think I'll hurt myself. I'm swimming and stretching 24x a day to try to get this to heal up.
So as long as it doesn't get worse, I'll just heavily tape the ankle and be out there.

Sucks to be old, doesn't it Alan?
I'll wear my X-Marks cheerleader outfit if everyone promises not to laugh too much!
Be well,

Be well,
BAH! I only just turned 50!
**grumble**
Actually, at practice last night I miraculolusly seemed to toss the flippin 28'er well over 40 feet. This is with bum ankle, and I did it three times, though I fouled out on two of the throws. So I have great hopes for the Games.
Hammer is wierd, so I think it's not likely I'll break 80 feet this time, but I'm gunning for 40+ in the 28 pound WFD. If I could do that and turn a caber....... it'd be pretty good for an OLD GUY.
gearing up to wolf whistle at the cheerleader
