I get the proofs tomorrow from the printer, and hopefully there won't be any glitches! I'll keep you posted.

Would there be a possibility of getting the corrections and updated information for those of us who have the first edition?

Ummm, no. The corrections and updates are sprinkled throughout the whole book. The instructions are basically the same, and the only truly crucial correction was already noted with an errata sticker on the shrink wrap of the first printing. I've clarified some of the instructions, changed a couple of the photos, and corrected the typos (I hope all of the them!). But none of that is crucial enough to make the first printing outdated (remember that this is a second printing, not a second edition). The updates in the URLs and suppliers are something that you could Google to find the updated information.
BTW - the proofs are back to the printer, I _finally_ got a signed legal agreement from my co-author, and the press run should be tomorrow or Monday. Woo woo!

Another update - the book is on the press to tomorrow. I am _really_ excited - I went and watched it being printed the last time, and it is almost magical!!
As an aside, the company who is printing the book is a local, employee-owned printing company, and they are truly the bee's knees. They do beautiful work, the people are incredibly nice, and they have always treated me as if I were going to be bringing them a million dollars of business a year. They are Canterbury Press of Rome, NY (http://www.canterburypress.com/), and I can't say enough good things about every person I've dealt with in the company. They don't just do local work, so, if you ever need printing done, consider them!!
Cheers,
Barb

Barb,
I hope it comes out quickly. I have a kilt in process and put the kilt up out of the way for the evening last night. Unfortunately, I left your book on my kilting table with a half glass of water. We have cats, and of course one of them loves to knock over anything with water in it. Yes, it hit the book and I didn't find it till this morning. It was lent to me by my mother, so let me know when I can replace it.

I've seen all three pieces (cover, black ink pages and finally the color pages) come off the press. All looks great! Binding and wrapping should be done this week. Fingers crossed !!!
