    Skechers seem to fit me well. I have three or four pair of Skechers right now. The kilt boots are Mariner Pilots. They're semi-chunky while still comfortable and not too heavy compared to others, and no steel-toe.

    I'll second this. I love my Mariner Pilots. They are very comfortable, and look good with my Black Watch kilt.
