Does wearing my wife's snake skin kilt count as kilts I own? (From McHummel's list) Not that there's anything wrong with that.

MacDonald of Sleat 2. Macpherson Red and finally I have been talking to Peter about the Royal Navy Association tartan but it will be a while before it happens.

I guess it really doesn't count I just wanted to throw it out there becasue its very cool looking I don't by any means have a huge collection of of kilts if i had time to make the ones i want i'd never get anyone elses done. Thats why Steve's comment rings so true.

I can't compete - my fifth just arrived today.
"Touch not the cat bot a glove."
I cannot compete either. Only nine here. 2 x USA Kilts 3 x Stillwaters Kilts 2 x Sport Kilts 2 x Utilikilts I could boost it a little if I claimed some long discarded kilts from my childhood! Not sure that counts though. KP

You hit the operative word that we should take offence to.."Compete" In the end if you have a kilt and you like to wear it you are a winner. How many kilts can you wear at once? Grant will of course will prove us wrong and wear all the kilts he owns at once just because....
