I don't have a quarter of the kilts Pete has. MacHummel and myself are lucky enough to see all the tartans people have ordered made into kilts and can decide whether I like them or not. Some are not so great sitting in a swatch book or in a bolt but when there made up are really top notch. Some go on the wish list and some don't. I get to see a lot of CCK's kilts before shipping and a lot have been added to my list of wants. I also know when MacHummels busy and when he's not. It's few and far between when he is not but I try to nail him when he has time to experiment or just happens to want to make a kilt my size. He knows what i like and don't.

Ummm..... I've got 28 kilts on hand and one on the way: a Clark tank, machine made in Nova Scotia some 12 years ago, that I picked up on eBay from a fellow in Hong Kong. Half a dozen tanks, sundry light weight trads, many contemporaries in cotton, cotton/poly, PV, denim, canvas, leather and acrylic. SK, SWK, USAK, UK, Freedom, HR, 21stC, HOS, etc.

I'd vowed to maintain parity between my smoking pipes and my kilts. But the pipes now outnumber the kilts by 5. Time to consider ordering more kilts, methinks..........
    I've kilt for less.

Ohh! You have a Star kilt? Those are rare and much coveted. You're so lucky, she won't give me the time of day.

    Grant,

I've told her not to talk to strangers, and you are pretty much as strange as they come...
