It's in the wedding basket on the ground. You can see it in the first photo right in front of Carolyn's skirt.

Sorry, slow dial up, didn't wait around long enough to realize there were more pics. Cool, the washing of the hands ceremony too. And great to see a "Navajo" medicine man in the Isle of Skye tartan kilt!

Hi Ron
Looks a lot like Isle of Skye but it's actually the New Hampshire state tartan!

Barb, Barb, Barb....I so wish you hadn't pointed that out...New Hampshire State tartan eh?
One of my ancestors, my six great grandfather Samuel Blake (crazy Englishman) was a Portsmouth , N.H. fisherman who sailed off with an armed fleet of other New Hampshire fishermen to roust the French from Ft. Louisburg, Nova Scotia in June of 1745. The French were rousted, but they managed to kill Samuel Blake in battle. His adult son Samuel Blake, Jr. was also on the mission and survived so I'm here typing this today.
Have always thought a kilt to remind myself of his folly would be appropriate, but there's no Blake tartan...but hey, a New Hampshire tartan...and a beautiful tartan too...hmmmm
And, the right to wear another purple and green tartan and say, "No, its not Isle of Skye, its New Hampshire state.....

It's a fab tartan, particularly pleated to the stripe - see the picture below of my two favorite hams hamming it up. Maybe you need another kilt? I know that you have Kathy make your kilts, and she may or may not know that the only place that carries the NH tartan (as far as I know) is the New Hampshire St. Andrew's Society, and it's 14 oz. She can order it at http://www.standrewsocietynh.org/tar...nhtartan1.html. Or.......you could always branch out and have me make you a kilt!!!
BTW - all of Dave's ancestors have been in the Portsmouth area since about 1630 - maybe your six great grandad knew Dave's ancestors!

That is a sharp look! Thanks for answering the unasked question. Right now I'm off kilt ordering for a while...the plastic is still smouldering like an old tire fire. Working on the wish list now. That last pic really brings out the red - having the same pleasing colors as the IOS, but enough red to make it different.
Guessing you're right about the ancestors. Sam Blake's grandfather Jasper Blake III, came over from Wimbotsham, Norfolk, England probably in the 1650s...but they settled a bit south in Hampton. Fishermen though. The family moved west though, Sam's grandson to Vermont, his son to Ohio, his son to Illinois, his son to Montana, his daughter to Oregon....a mobile clan for sure.

ah, but Ron, November is a three pay month. I've kept track of your pay period. It could be a Christmas/Solstice treat to yourself.

Nice guess, but wrong. My last three pay month was August and that extra went for foam to put out the flames on my plastic with just a little used to support the U.S. Navy PV effort and order up a semi-trad and reregister the ride.
But my wish list will be ready for the next three pay month next year...count on it.
