New Dress Sporran from ebay
Sometimes you find good buys on ebay, such was the case when I found a dress sporran the other week. I have been looking for a nice dress sporran for a little while, one that would not break the bank as it is sporran number 5 with number 6 being worked on by our own Turpin. So when I saw this sporran I thought to myself, I'd better hit the buy it now button, you see I've seen these get away before. It was in my mailbox when i got home from work today, I think it will fit the bill for Burns nights and the holiday season fast approaching. Here are the photos:

A close up of the cantle

All in all I am happy with it, now I'm wondering if I should test it out tonight at Scottish Country Dancing.

Looks to be of decent quality, better than the rest that's on eBay.
What did it set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

It was 40 pounds, not a bad price for one like this I thought.

It appears to be bovine. I like the subtle spots and the cantle looks to be a high quality casting. Good job on the buy it now. Decent quality usually goes for well over $100 on evilbay. O'Neille

I think you might be right, as the seller just called it fur, I would have really like a sealskin, however for the price I think this mystery fur will suffice for this year anyway.
