Celtic Classic 2007
So a few photos from the games.

The Classic was great! The weather was as close to perfect as you could ask for, the music was varied, the crowds were controlled, the beer flowing, etc. I took the wife and kids and we had a grand time.
There were the games:
Practising the hammer

OK, can you find the stone?

There were plenty kilts although I agree the locals wear them mostly for the Classic. Amerikilts was there and many people were sporting them. I think everyone buys their sporrans from Rocky at USA Kilts. He sells Buzz Kidder and it looked like 80% of the sporrans were Buzz Kidders.
Rocky was such a nice guy to chat with and man was his booth busy. He told me he does about 2 months worth of business in the 3 days. From the look of the crowds at his booth he and his wife were earning it.
Of course there were many kilts and the best place to see those is the bands so here we go:

Notice the little guy marching next to his Dad.

Thanks for the pics, Chef. They are awesome! You certainly did get a good spot to watch the parade.
It was a pleasure meeting you and the other members of the X Marks crowd there that day.

It really did look sharp. I may need to get a kilt done in it.

Thanks for an excellent photo album.
Is there a historical significance to the old wall behind the band in the first pic?
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
