Beautiful! I want to go up there. Mainly to visit the churches in Kodiak and St. Herman's hermitage on Spruce Island. But, man, that is some bee-yootiful country!

In those days half of the ship slept in the solarium, like a giant hippie slumber party.

Done that! It was pretty neat laying on the fantail under the stars in my sleeping bag and watching the mountains slide by in the night.
