As I mentioned in the thread about British Columbia wines, we were guests at a sort of a mini-con hosted by Canadian Tourism a couple of days ago. While I was speaking to the representatives from Vancouver and Victoria, I dropped a few names like Steve Ashton, Robert MacDonald and Gordon Kirkbright...and got no response. Hey! Come on, CTC guys...if you're going to boost Canada get hip to these invaluable assets! I had to explain to them that they had a tartan producer and kiltmakers in their areas.

Had I spent any time with the folks from Ontario, I certainly would have mentioned Canadian Casual Kilts but I missed them.

Hey...these would be tourist destinations for me....
