I've used'em since early 2005. Their products are pretty high quality. I normally wear their stuff with my Utilikilt, though, since I tend to buy their socks that have stripes in them, instead of plain colors.
I usually get my kilt hose from The Tartan Thistle, based out of Freeland, WA (Whidbey Island)... http://www.tartanthistle.com - the type I usually get are the Piper's kilt hose. Prefer the bulkier look to the turndown. Sometime soon, however, I do intend to purchase a couple pairs of the Lewis kilt hose that Matt sells.

I'm heading up there this weekend, so I ought to be able to track some down.
I'd suggest stopping here in the springs first. The Celtic Celebration is in the Citadel Mall on the upper floor next to JC Penney. The other is the Celtic Mercantile at 2616 W Colorado in the Old Colorado City part of town. Looking up the address I found another possiblity here at 2842 Janitell Rd which is called the Celtic Merchant. Haven't been in there so can't tell you much about it. I know there are 2 in the Denver area but not sure exactly where they are. GMan could let you know about them.

Here is another vote for Sock Dreams. I have three pair and I like them very much.
The website is sockdreams.com.
Check out the "Diamond Ribbed Knee Highs" for $8 (very cool!) or the O Basics for $6.
Hope this helps!

I've ordered from them twice. Service and value have been very good, and they have held up well so far. They have a huge variety of socks. Not only are the prices very reasonable, they also have free shipping (at least for the US). I recently reviewed my first order on my blog. BTW, the O Marled go very well with utility type kilts, and can pull up well over the knee for cold weather warmth.

I have ordered from Ron at Hamilton dry goods three times and have been real happy with his over the knee socks. http://www.hamiltondrygoods.com/sock.html
Just give him a call and see what he has in stock. His cotton socks are great for summer and his wool socks are great for winter or Dress. Last time I ordered he has some really nice Merino Wool Scoks and I have big calfs and they fit fine. They are super soft and don't itch.
Just remember to call Ron first and order because he might have scoks not listed on his web site.

I wear scrunched down soccer socks everyday purchased from Eurosport, http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPa...rchQuery=socks, and cream socks from stillwater (www.stillwaterkilts.com) when I am dressed up.

I use a brand called Pear Sox for summer scrunching, they come in about 2 dozen colours even pink...I mean maroon. Best thing for the summer is they can be thrown in the wash. I think I picked up 6 pairs for $25.
For the real hose I prefer the Lewis hose. I think they are the brand Mac Newsome carries. They look really good and they are very comfortable.

I just got 2 pair of hose from sportskilt.com and they are very nice for about $8 per pair. The forest green looks especially nice.

I looked at kiltstore, and while they have wonderful prices on items themselves, their shipping is... a bit prohibitive for me, at present. Are there any recommendations for a North America-based shipper with a few color choices for kilt hose?
Hey! Let me know what you find in the shops in Colorado Springs, would ya? I need a pair of forest green kilt hose to go with my new Bruce Kilt!
