Hey, does anyone know where the Willie MacWonka picture came from (it was on one of the pages around the late 80's, if I have it right)? The pic seems to be gone from the thread.

Tyr has never worn kilts that I know of, they are Faeroese, and most of their songs are in english, to reach a wider audience. One of my favorite folksongs from Denmark they did in Danish, "Ramund hin Unge". They also do songs in Faeroese, and sometimes mix verses in that and english. All their music is very cool ballads and inspired by the Sagas and Eddas, and some of the modern world events.

Like I say, they don't wear kilts, but they do wear mail shirts on stage. And in their videos they often have swords.

I just feel the need to defend them because they have such an impact on my life and are one of my most favorite bands.

    It's a do... and a "Done it"

Yeah, riding your motorcycle in a kilt is a definate do - and a "done it"... not so sure about long pointy objects along for the ride, though - would be a little painful all around if the tip of tht sword got caught in the spokes!

As a fellow motorcycle rider I think you maybe looney to ride a motorcycle in a kilt. Way to much skin exposed if you can get the darned thing not to blow up. Just my opinion. How do you manage?
