Wanting to make a modern kilt, help

With the addition of some leather straps, rivets and so on, you could turn an X-Kilt into something rather like a box-pleated version of that.

ditto on that, heck the box pleats are a lot easier than the knife pleats but i like the look of the knife pleats better, ill just have to figure out what to do, thanks for the link on the x-kilt its pretty cool
