The perspective I'm seeing this from is my grandfathers--he was the brave one in the family who uprooted and gave up everything to come to America---the wearing of the kilt was a daily ritual for him and everything had to be perfect, he made sure my dad was kilted appropriately and it passed down to me as well--- I wear red wing boots and a t-shirt with my kilt often which would never be considered appropriate by their generation but times change!!--I'll try to be a little less blunt next time......BUT......I still say the hilfiger thing is embarrasing and you'll know what I mean when people start asking us "what mall did you get your kilt at" Ha-Ha!!

I meant Mark, who posted on the 120th page, and then said he never would, screwed up a little. And in truth, that Hilfiger ad just about made me puke, as well. I actually made an earlier comment about it. Buying a kilt from freakin' Hilfiger is in my of DO NOT DO- EVER!! category.

Nighthawk and 3fingerslinger, let's bear in mind this is a family-oriented forum. Kindly reserve the rough talk for other places, OK?
