My new $300 Disaster
Curses!
This IS a disaster!
So, I had a stressful day at work today (relatively speaking - a bad day at the office is still better than the trials that a lot of people face every day). I was REALLY looking forward to the peace and quiet of home.
When I put my things down on the kitchen counter, I noticed the air in my house smelled fresher than it ought to. What? My back door is open! ARGH! The window is smashed!!!
I'VE BEEN RANSACKED AND ROBBED!!!!
Well, a little ransacked, at any rate.
Someone broke into my house today and stole my iPod and speakers. But here's the worst part: I had been saving my loose change for another tank, and had about $300 in rolled coins in a dresser drawer, truly calling out to be deposited in the bank, GONE! Gone, gone, GONE!
It's a rampant problem in my neighborhood, actually, and I had been expecting this for while. I've been seriously thinking of leaving a bowl of change out on the back porch.
BUT MY KILT MONEY?????
WHY? WHY? WHY????!!!!
Rex.

Sorry to hear about your robbery... as someone who's been through it - I know it can be very violating - but, it's fortunate they only stole some cash and your ipod. Keep your chin up!!

Bad news all round Rex, at least you were not home when it happened, possessions can be replaced.
