New rival in the service dept
On monday afternoon (about 3:30) I ordered a storm cape from Empire Canvas works. It arrived today in the mail. No pics yet, but it is extremely cool (er...warm). My only concern is that with a little wear, the wrinkles form being shipped will fall out.

Yeah, those are sweet. I've wanted one since I read Matt's review on it some months ago. The thing is, I can't really justify it to myself, as we don't usually get enough "weather" to use it much. I may get one some day just because.

Is the "storm cape" that you are enthusing about, the same as an "Inverness cape"?

They call it a cousin of the "famous Inverness Cape". For $265 bucks it ought to be a kissing cousin at least. Looks nice though.
