    Great doublet!!! I wear a doublet in my band, and I know how intricate they can be.

    Will you be getting a piper's plaid soon?

    That looks really good! The only suggestion I would have is that it looks as though it would benefit from having some stiffening added to the tashes to keep them from folding so easily. I'm impressed, though!

    I wouldnt mind a pipers Plaid, I quite like using a fly plaid with it, I know its not strictly accurate to do so but its a lot less cumbersome, and I dont wear it with a band, Ive spats and all sorts of stuff but Im sort of building the no1 outfit up as I go along, I normally wear an Argyll jacket but the doublet saves ironing a shirt!

    GREAT! I really do love Black Stewart, and the spats with black hose is perfect. Two suggestions, if I may: a dirk and purl the edges of the plaid.
