    looks great...I've never seen two buckles on one side before, but then again, I'm a baby kilty, I've still got my pampers on.

    The three buckle kilts are quite common.
    It used to be that Military kilts had a much higher rise than regular kilts, so they had an extra buckle. And somehow it carried over into other kilts.
    I prefer them with just one buckle per side, but I'm not going to quibble.

    That's a very fine-looking fabric. The colors "work together" much more so than many MacDonalds out there (or any of the several in my closet!) Good on ya.

    Thanks for the heads-up. I managed to pick up a 5 yard Patterson blue that just arrived and it is even nicer than I expected. The price was excellent also.
