ya never know. My family(Gillmore) actually immigrated to Chile and they've been there since, until my mother came here.

Yep. A lot of Scots immigrated to South America, especially Argentina and Chile. In fact, there is a tartan for Argentina:

The web site is well worth perusing. I had an e-mail buddy several years ago who was from Argentina, but was very proud of his Scottish heritage. He moved to Canada and I haven't heard from him since!

Ohhh --- I thought he just put it on upside down by mistake. 'Alf a tick, now; it is upside down, whatever it is. Alas, I think it may be a real tartan, just tailored by MacTablecloth & sons.
