Celtic Corner in Cincinnati

Roan - Thanks for the compliment on the avatar. That symbol is called a valknut but is sometimes known as Odin's Heart. It's usually found carved along side Odin, most often in battle or death scenes. In that respect it's supposed to suggest passage from one world to the next. Norse mythology contends there were nine worlds; the valknut symbolized them with it's nine points.

Scotland Yard is in Shelbyville, about twenty five miles east of Louisville along I-64. They are right around the corner from an ex-girlfriend's house, so I'm careful about when I go there.

They do a LOT of business in rental formal wear, judging from the stack of boxes with outbound addresses I saw when I was last in their store. Their kilts and accessories are mostly from Lochcarron, and they have some t-shirts from Buzz Kidder's collection.

I had occaision to order a couple of things from Celtic Corner the other day and spoke with Lenora Gilmour for a little bit...seems a very nice lady.

Does anyone have a kilt from Celtic Corner and would they like to offer a review?
