Stone is a great venue for the games, especially the clan tents. all are in shade so even if it's hot you're pretty comfortable. The parade field is a bit smaller than some, but it makes the assembled bands and clans look more imposing. The massed bands on Saturday had 643 pipers and drummers present.

John, Thank you for posting your pics. I wasn't able to atend due to work and coaching my son's football team (hey we're 7-1 ), but i hated missing Stone this year.

I have been waiting all day to see these picture ( can't see them at work for some strange reason) and I was not disappointed they are fantastic.
