Usually just keys and the wallet. Any more, and the sporran begins to rub against the steering wheel. If I need more storage space, I add the detachable survival pockets from my old Utilikilt that I recently retired. Normally attach them to the kilt belt.

This is a pic of Turpin at Stone Mtn last weekend. He can carry in his that large (I mean EXLARGE or GRANDE) Flask with his own glass. He was not going to run out, that's for sure!!! And the Glass added some CLASS...

Thanks for pointing it out. I've just added it to my belt and sporran strap order.

you're right about that. On Saturday I'll be stuffing my own beaver and will post a pic here.

Let's see, Ciggs, zippo, notebook, wallet, $$, tripod, tape, breath strips, pen, small knife (replacement for one stolen at the airport!), cell phone, camera, larger lock blade, earplugs, keys - coins still in top flap.
That's about it..... everything fits with room to spare for extra stuff.

Is the cord on your earphones long enough so you can listen to your ipod while wearing the sporran?

I know you didn't ask me, but here's an interesting fact. The cord on my iPod Nano is long enough to reach my ears from my sporran, but if I keep the Nano in the sporran it generates static electricity from rubbing against the leather, and I get little shocks in my ears! I don't know if getting a case for the Nano would stop that; as it is I just have it loose.
