    Ditto what everyone else has said. If you don't attend any events that require a tux then you really don't need a PC, as it is the Highland dress equivalent of the tux jacket. People do try and dress it down (I've seen it frequently worn with a neck tie, as opposed to a bow tie, and I've even seen it worn - yikes! - with a t-shirt!). But really it is designed to be worn with a bow tie.

    The Argyle in a black worsted wool and silver-tone buttons can be dressed up or down. It can be worn with a dress-shirt and long neck tie. It can be worn with a tux shirt and bow tie. It can be worn with or without a vest. It is a rather flexible garment.

    A few folks have reccomended our museum's gift shop, and I would concur. Here is a direct link to our jacket page:

    I have two made to measure Lochcarron argyll jackets I ordered through Kathy Lare at a VERY competative price. If you happen to be a bit different from "normal" shapes that's the way to go. Talk to her.
