Yup Alren, I be 63....or as my 59 yo little sister likes to point out, in my 64th year...
This is payback though. When I was young I also looked young. No fun being a 21 yo police officer during the riots of the 60s and looking like I was 15. And I was skinny. No flack jackets back then. I'd bulk up wearing TWO sweatshirts under my uniform. Still looked like a kid. Hard to establish "officer presence" with that look.
I tried to age myself with thirty years of chain smoking and alcoholism...but it didn't help much.
Now, as an olde kilted geezer I get to flirt with women who think I'm younger. And, I'm positive it is the kilts that allow it. None of the fun would get started were I in jeans or slacks.
It is SOOOO ironic that the simple answer to meeting fun women is kilting up - but if you suggest it to a young man looking for fun his response will probably be "Say what??"
Its okay...that leaves more ladies for those of us that 'get it.'

There's no way you're 63, Ron.
My Dad's 57 and he looks 10 years older than you!
But ... does your Dad wear a kilt ???
If not maybe that's the reason.
CT - dang, that's my age group Ron, I gotta come out for that balloon fest.

That a couple of women could pulled away from that shows the power of a man in a kilt.
I grew up near Albuquerque. My dad and I used to go to see the balloon rallies every spring and fall. I used to love it. I wish they did it in Denver.

Ron - I've got you beat by one year! But age is only a state of mind, and one of these days I'm going to grow up (but not too soon). Like Stan, I believe that 60 is the new 40. I also hate the term "retired", my preferred term for those of us who have left the ranks of the employed is "renaissance".
