iPhone, the latest must-have accessory for the man (or woman) on the go. Internet, music, movies, games, photos, maps, and an organizer. Oh, and a phone too. I think it acts as a phone...

ok so for a test I am currently logged into xmarks on my iPhone. I'm not on wifi but i am quite impressed with how well it works. Once the site is cachet it is fairly quick. I don't think it will be great for threads with lots of pics but that's ok. Although it might work fine on a wifi nework. So after playing with it I can report that it is very cool!!!
Of course everyone thinks that it is so expensive, but in actuallity it was cheaper than the Crackberry. It was $100 more initially but the service is $20 less per month. So the initial investment wil be returned fairly quickly. Also the interface is just so much more intuitive.
I'll update as get to know my iPhone better.

I suggested to my boss that the company buy me a new iphone for work. After some negotiations I got it. However, I had to give up getting a company car and paid time off. My boss is the greatest guy to work with. Maybe if my company had more than one employee I could get more stuff! I think I'll take the boss' girlfriend out tonight just to celebrate.

I'll admit that Apple products have a bit of a designer snootiness about them but the price is not as bad as you might think. When you look at top of the line Vista machines that spec out similarly to the Macs the prices get pretty close.
Also the iPhone (now that it dropped in price) is much more competitive. I was an existing ATT customer and not close to an upgrade so the best price I could have bought a Crackberry for was $299, the iPhone was $399. The kicker though is the Crackberry plans were $20 or more per month higher than the iPhone's for what I needed. That's $480 over the 2 years or basically a free iphone plus.

Well Mr. High Tech, I suppose you are just too good for tried and true messenger pigeons, aren't you!

Man, you sold out too soon. You should've held out for a new kilt in the company tartan. What? No company tartan? Give Matt a call on your new iphone...
