Denver 2nd Saturday Kilt Night for November
Hey guys, I've been way too busy lately so not up on what our current schedule is. Are we going to have our monthly 2nd Saturday kilt night 11/10? If so, where will we be meeting this time?

I'm up for it... I picked the last place, so it's your turn!!
I know there are ALOT of places in Denver...
Pints Pub (13th & Bannock) www.pintspub.com
Fado's Irish Pub (LoDo)
Nallen's Irish Pub (LoDo)
Irish Snug (Capital Hill)
Irish Rover (S. Broadway about Ellsworth)
Irish Hound (6th Ave. & St. Paul)
British Bulldog (Broadway & 20th)
Duffy's Shamrock (near the Brown Palace)
The Celtic Tavern (18th & Blake - LoDo)
There are more in the suburbs, but I'm not as familiar with those...

I'm in! I have new kilt coming from SWK, so it would be nice to show it off. My wie has a matching skirt coming from SportKilts that she also wants to show off. So we're two people who are in on this.

Well....If I'm picking the place, it will be Jack Quinns on Tejon in Colorado Springs But, seeing as how I don't know the places up there, I will have to defer to your judgement. Please do not make it The Celtic Tavern (too much smoke for us non-smokers) or the Irish Snug (it didn't go over that well last time we were there). There is one in Castle Pines that would be great, Celtic Crossing.

I read the Celtic Connection publication. Check out http://www.celticevents.com/ for everything Celtic in Colorado. It's killer. Maybe you could even join us! If you haven't already... It'll be my first time.

I just know of a bunch of the places downtown since that's where I live... I'm always watching out for them.
One of my favorite places is Pint's Pub... they boast the largest selection of single malt whisky this side of Ediburgh, Scotland. If you go to their website www.pintspub.com, they have 8 pages of whiskys they carry.
it's a clean place, every time I've been in there it hasn't been smoky (can't smoke it in anyway because of Colorado Law) and the food is good!

So are we doin' this thing or what? I'm dyin' to meet a few of you hooligans! Pints looks good- anywhere with that much whiskey has my vote! Oh!! Oh!! We could make our kilt night at a movie theater to see Beowulf!! I'm going NUCKING FUTS to see that!! Just a thought...
