    New Weathered McKenzie arrived today

I collected my new 8-yard 13oz. weathered McKenzie from my local kilt shop today, complete with matching flashes. The kilt is a Lochcarron weave, built by the same kilt maker who constructed my Teviotdale and County Armagh kilts.

That's beautiful Alex. I also have the Lochcarron Weathered MacKenzie (13 oz). The Lochcarron is more subdued (like the weathered tartans are supposed to be) yet you can still see the light tinge or green and blue in what appears to be brown and grey.

It's a great looking tartan and you wear it well. I find mine goes really well with my brown Freelander
