Prince Charles portrait
A painting of the Prince of Wales in the uniform of Colonel of the Black Watch, a post he occupied `03-`06 (I had no idea!):

Not my favorite guy, but I have to admit, he looks really good.

I'm quite fond of Prince Charles. He seems a nice guy.And he looks pretty dapper, too.

Prince Charles does look very sharp & distinguished in that portrait, but what's with the green bows on the right side of the apron? I've never seen anything like that before on a kilt...
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

If you ask me it is a most unflattering portrait - a hatchet job...

Since the Prince and I are near the same age and my Mum was English I watched him many of year. I can remember coverage of him in grade school in "My Weekly Reader." Just this week I watched the DVD, "The Queen". It was insightful into his personality and role he played 10 years ago at Diana's death trying to get his Mum out of trouble with her subjects.
It's a great potrait.
But what I like most of all is the link to the Blackwatch. Thank you! That blue bonnet in the Shop is on my short list!

They're called "rosettes" - a military kilt adornment. You can buy some, too!
