1) How often do you wear the kilt?

I have worn one everyday since March of this year, and of and on before that for about 6 years.

2) (If you wear it daily) What profession allows this sort of dress?

I am a Graphic Designer/Conversion operator at a Financial Printing company

3) How does your significant other feel about it?

I am single

4) How do you respond to people who question your motives for wearing the kilt?
(I have a very good, very old friend (a girl) who just could not believe that I wear a kilt in public. She gave me a really hard time about it over dinner with other friends. I was really surprised at her reaction. None of my guy friends have reacted that way.)

This depends on the person doing the asking, the situation, and how they decide to question me, I tend to give as good as I get.


5) Do you think kilts are becoming more popular?

I would say they enjoying somewhat of a modern resurgence

6) Do you really want them to be more popluar?

Yes I really do want them to become more popular, as I have gained quite a bit of enjoyment from simply wearing the kilt and would love it if others could experience it as well.

(It seems I am seeing more and more people here in Austin wearing them out, but mostly they are Utilikilts.)


Without the Utilikilt I seriously doubt that the kilt would be enjoying the renaissance that it is today.
