    Echoing, THANKS! for the black with X Marks idea. Who'd have thunk it. Is this a great board or what?

    And contrats to the new deacon. Know something of that in that a good friend went through the process a few years ago. No small thing for sure.

    Congrats to your friend! I've been an ordained minister since August myself. It's not a religious ordingation- just a secular one- but since I'm pagan and don't belong to a church, I had to it that way. I've actually been thinking about starting my own coven. I'm a neo Druid, though, and I don't know of any others in Denver. I've had to study online through the Magica Scool of Witchcraft. That's the problem with pagan faiths- a lot of them come from the Celts, and are very uncentralized as a result. That is after all why the Romans were able to dominate the Celts for hundreds of years- the Celts were fiercely individualistic and just couldn't unite. I guess the whole point here is that even though my ordination isn't religeuos, I still take it very seriously and am very proud of it, so I can imagine all the work your friend put into his.
