In several of the aircraft you are allowed (encouraged) to go aboard. Having shoe-horned my buttocks in a CF-100 once I shall be taking the precautions of preventing exposure of my short comings. Woe be the one who doesn't heed my warning and climps a ladder ahead of me  . If no-one has sat in a circa 1950's fighter before you'll appreciate the cajones of these fighter jocks.
