Looking very sharp. I'm such a fan of the weather'd hues.
A bit of getting use to on the missing facial hair though.

Jamie, that is a fantastic looking kilt and the wee lassie makes it all the better.

I've just noticed that SWK's weathered Lamont has the same problem that many have noticed with the Black Watch tartan, as produced by some Pakistani suppliers. Namely, it's really only half the sett.
The Lamont tartan is based on the Black Watch (it's the Black Watch with a white line added to the green), and so like the Black Watch it should have a single pair of black stripes alternating with a double pair of black stripes on every other blue field. This one has a single pair of black lines on every blue, effectively showing only half the sett.
Understand I'm just making an academic comment on the tartan, here, Jamie, not on your outfit! You look smashing, as usual!

So it's a Lamont variant, I think I can live with that!
This is my first weathered tartan and I am really taken with the muted subtle earth tones.
Ever since meeting a Lady who was a proud Lamont in Trader Joes who informed me of how to properly pronounce the clan's name "It's not La-Mont, it's Lam-it! It rhymes with da****" I've been waiting for an excuse to use her explanation.
Cheers

Looking sharp there. I hadn't thought of blue hose before to go with mine. Guess I'll be looking into a pair of lovat blue hose soon. Yes, the women in our lives improve the pics we're in.

Great pictures and a great kilt. I just received my Weathered Lamont from SWK, their close-out (slight water damaged) collection.
The damage is very very minimal, and it's my first wool kilt, I am sooo excited to have it.
Last night I was wearing it and some friends were over, by the end of the evening I was showing him certain very special websites. We just might have another convert
