Tartan ID?

It is extremely small in the picture on line, but it appears to be something similar to the red Ramsay. Other possibilities might be MacLeod of Raasay, Ettrick, Campbell red, etc.... of course, the iconographer could have just made up a tartan design to give the icon a more Scottish feel. (I really doubt any historical church in Scotland every used tartan as an altar cloth).

Thank you for posting the link to the icon of Scottish saints. I liked it so much that I ordered two icons from them, they arrived today. Very nicely done. Have you ever discover what the tartan is in the icon???

It is indeed an interesting and nicely done icon. However, one of the more important Scots saints is missing, St Margaret.
