Helloe from Glencoe
Both the clan and the kilt adopted me, one at marriage and one at my induction into the pipe band. I've grown very fond of both.

There just has to be a reason why a town in the USA is named after such a famous place in Scotland.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

We colonials just ran out of names and started recycling. Culloen Georgia,
Glencoe MN, Glencoe IL, Bannockburn IL, London ON, Greenwich Connecticut, Glasgow Kentucky, Birmingham Alabama, Manchester NH, ant the list gors on.

Hey, Turp...don't forget East Dundee, West Dundee and Midlothian! All in Illinois near Chicago.
Our local PBS tour/historian did a bit on the Dundee's and they were, apparently, settled by Scots.
