    I'd have to say:

bacon flavor = pork fat + smoke + salt

"bacon flavor" - pork fat = NOT bacon flavor

My apologies to the veggies, Muslims, and those watching cholesterol/fat/salt intake, but the only thing that tastes like bacon is bacon.

[QUOTE=emolas;447778] I keep a jar of bacon grease in the refrigerator to cook and/or season with but that would be a whole lot healthier.

My dad used to keep the bacon grease to spread on toast, in case anyone is looking for a new way to slowly kill yourself.

Drippings on toast, seemed very popular in England.

I do too!! It's so great. I like to think of it as free-weights for the heart. You're hearts a muscle, if you don't make it work, how will it ever get strong?

my personal goal is to have enough to fill my deep fryer...
er, I mean, I'm a health concious young man.

Me too! Twice! Once the shot in a bird, and once the bullet in the pig!

Sorry all I can say is....eeewwww and double eeewwwww!

Sorry I won't believe anything good can come of bacon flavour in a shaker. Especially one that can't actually have any bacon in it.

Mods, please delete the link if anyone finds it offensive.
Yeah, my grandma used to cook EVERYTHING with bacon grease, and then put butter on/in everything else. She even put butter in her coffee. And despite smoking like a chimney for 40 years, she still lived to be 81.

As for the seasonshot, I love it, though I can just see that showing up on CSI.
