In the subsequent rummaging for documents Hamish was smoothly transferred from the airship to the strange wheeled transport, which then conveyed him sedately towards the lawn. Once there he rose and greeted several dozen of those waiting to meet him, but Matron was watching with an eagle eye and soon intervened, the chair was brought and Hamish was whisked indoors to the apartment.
