I have a very good who is a 5th degree black belt in various styles of martial arts. He's teaching me Shotokan karate. I am in his dojo three day, 4 hours a week. I walk 7-8 miles a week. I was steadily loosing weight for a while. Now, however, I have stalled the loss at 290, but I'm getting so solid and muscled that I don't know that there is a whole lot more to loose. There is still some around the midsection for sure, but nothing anywhere else. I highly recomend a martial arts class. It helps- and fast. If you can afford it, of course.
