    Scooby Doo and Nessy!

The kids were watching cartoons the other morning and I notice that Scooby and the Gang are in Scotland unraveling the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster. Sure enough, Sir Ian is the main Scientist tracking Nessy's movements in a very sharp Argyle jacket and contrasting vest, balmoral bonnet and simple brown leather day sporran and I believe even he was wearing a leather sporran strap. Very cool rooby rooooooooo!

I still like the Doctor Who explanation of where Nessie came from the best.

That's been out for a few years now. It was a favourite of my kids for a few years. Funny show and some good DVD extras. You also get Scooby and Shaggy in kilts a few times. Now if only they could learn to say Drumnadrochit.

This looks like a fun Nessie movie too http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/thewaterhorse/

Don't rent the 90's version of Loch ness with Ted Danson. The monster is as fake as Dansen's tupee.

My kids have that DVD of Scooby and Loch Ness. Its a great little movie the kids seem to like, and there is a good in depth look into Scot things in the bonus features. Highland games, Nessie, that sort of thing.
