My first dozen are due to arrive in December and as a new Utilikilt distributor I want to be sure NOT to sell them for the "matured" physique IF they will not hang in such a way as to assure total satyisfaction. This may well limit sales, but will definitely result in customers who are pleased, if, like other responsible and reputable distributors, I can better recommend kilts that will fit well.
I don't know about "considerably" more rotund but at 45 I DO have a bit of the dunlop disease. I wear my utilikilts up at my navel as they just don't look right otherwise. I've also found them to run a little big. I have a 38 inch kilt waist but my 36 UK requires a belt and I just don't wear the 38 these days as it's WAY too big.
