Kilts Nos. 84 and 85 have arrived!
Yes folks, the two latest additions to The Kilt Kollection have been delivered.
No.84 - This 6 yarder from The House of Bruar, at Blair Atholl in Perthshire, is in their 'Erskine' tweed. It is a fine, machine stitched, no-nonsense garment which makes a great day-wear kilt for this time of year:
No.85 - Is a different kettle of fish! This is a 13oz, full 8 yarder from TartanKilts.com (The House of Edgar) and is in their exclusive Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) tartan. It is beautifully tailored, took only three weeks from ordering to delivery and is supremely comfortable:
These photos have been added to my on-line Photo Album.

#84 looks perfect for making the rounds of the estate. I'd like to have that in a Newsomesque box pleat.

Fantastic, Hamish! They are both beautiful, and beautifully presented as usual. I am especially glad to see the first one as I recently acquired a bit of tweed with a kilt in mind. This is helping to get the "kilting gears" moving in my head. Thanks!

Hamish,
Two excellent new aquisitions, you put all our efforts to shame. But I am somewhat amazed to see that his Lairdship now possesses now at least two hats! There is hope for you yet.
Cheers

Wow Hamish, both are very nice. I especially like # 84 though. The muted colors are fantastic.

Well Ham what can be said? Those are both wonderful, I have been looking at the RSCDS Tartan myself, one of these days I will be adding it to my wee kollection. Congratulations on the latest additions.
