Wow, "Out of the mouths of babes..." That's a great story. That kid will be someone to be reckoned with when he grows up!
As to the posts, I've been kicking around internet boards for a long time and read them faithfully but I just don't usually have much to say. (I'm kind of a curmudgeon)I think I've posted more here in the last couple of weeks than I have posted in ten years on a particular New England hiking forum. Folks here seem to be far friendlier, have a better sense of humor, and less self involved than other boards. It doesn't surprise me at all that a post count could go so high while still maintaining a high quality of useful information.
Of course the really cool subject matter helps a lot too.

Way to go turpin your 2000th sporran I should've become your business partner when you asked... What posts, well that's a milestone anyhow you slice it. great story, that kid is going to have his pick of cheerleaders in 10 years.
