HOBoken, NJ /NYC Kilt nite@ Scotland Yard Pub,nj
Postponed due to approaching weather, but Hoboken's Scotland Yard is just screaming out for a Pub crawl.
considering HoBO is only 5 minutes from Manhattan via Public transportation, it would be shame for this cool spot to not be taken over by a group of kilted men.
Looking ahead to December 2007, and a few Kilted men have posted interest in Hoboken's Scotland Yard Bar. :soda:
"Strap yer kilt on, this is a real PUB Crawl." "7 steps to get in, 12 steps to get out!"
Steps away (across the street and up the block) from the NJ/NY Path train < if you take the Path from 33rd, 23rd, 14, 9 or Christopher Street stations in NYC, to HOBoken, NJ only ONE (7 minutes) stop away from Manhattan!
And "YES" the Path Trains run 24 hrs 7 days a week.

That's too late in the season for me; I'm travelling for Christmas by that date. Before then, say pre-Dec. 20th, I can and will attend.

Wish I could get out there...if you believe the guide on the Circle Line tour that we were on earlier this year, Hoboken is where it's at....very hip and happening.
Party hearty, dudes.

Given the weather reports for this weekend, I'd say right now that it's better not to count on me.
Hope you all have a great time!

I see that Saturday will be cloudy, highs in the low 30's and lows in the upper 20's. Taking all of that into account I will probably be there if we can muster at least 2 or 3 more people. I have a friend who is also interested in joining us.
Who else is considering joining us?

Come on men brace up them Kilts
Come on men brace up them Kilts, if our Celtic ancestors could brave a bit of wind then we could and should turn out for the last X Marks the Scot New York/NJ area Pub crawl for 2007.
