I'm quite pleased with my SWK "Nightstalker" so I would be interested if they had a few other options.
Come to think of it, nobody seems to be offering custom tartans in PV. Maybe a new market niche for Stillwater? Hint, hint.....

But four out of the ten tartans listed are non-American.

There are alot of good tartans there, but I'd definitely get an American Bicentennial.
Then again, I'm waiting for more Black Watch Heavyweight wool in my size!

Too late on the Maple Leaf...I just ordered mine from Peter at CCK and I'm working on getting the Edzell US Navy tartan from Rocky at USA Kilts, other than that, I like the Isle of Skye, but didn't see it mentioned in the poll, but I would certainly be interested in a Heavyweight.

I don't know. I guess American Heritage, but I dunno. Definitely Isle of Skye. And IMMEDIATELY Gordon!

Y'know...I think that you have to take the nature of acrylic yarn into consideration...it invariably seems to look brighter than wool or pv...might there be difficulty in getting the subtlety of Isle of Skye woven in acrylic? Wool would be another matter...

STILL looking for an economic Buchanan kilt, to start out with!! Something in a poly-blend, mimic maybe a 13-15 oz wool, that I can kick-about in!!
Any reasonable options out there????

They're all really nice, but I probably wouldn't buy any of them. They're just not Isle of Skye or something that touches me, and the choice of a tartan is very personal.
