    Gaelic Translation Assistance requested

I've seen a few threads requesting assistance translating from English to Gaelic and I would also like some assistance.

I would like the following quote translated:

"What we've got here...is failure to communicate"

If this phrase can be translated into Gaelic, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Regards,

    Regards,
    A Malachaí,

Here is the best I can do (double check with other sources, as my grammar is very rusty):

    Tá a neamhchumarsáid anseo.

    There is non-communication here.

    Pronounced TAW NEV-KhUM-ER-SAUD AN-SHOW

Do bear in mind, this is Irish. If you want Scottish Gaelic, I couldn't really help as the grammar is often significantly different.

That brings me to another point. When people post requests for translations in Gaelic, it would be very helpful if they specified which of the three Gaelic languages (Irish, Scottish Gaelic, and Manx) they would like a translation for. After all, they are not merely dialects of the same tongue, they are separate languages.

    Sláinte!
