Dear Mr. Ashton, is there anything you CAN'T do?!? Quality items at reasonable prices??? I don't think there's any market for those. OK, maybe a few.

Looks good, that's giving me some ideas, hope the polimer clay works out well.

Since I'm new here and have missed out on the other items. I would be interested.

I suppose it's probably too late for this, but I recall someone suggesting this motto:

    Amici familia ab lectio est
This translates to "Friends are family by choice". I think it does well to explain the idea of an XMarks "clan".

Like I said, probably too late for this pin, but I'd love a pin with a motto or something like that on it.

Kent, you haven't missed out on anything. And this cap badge is not a replacement for the other items of X Marks propaganda. It's just that we are having some production difficulties with the others and they have not. been available for a while.

I do like the design. I'm not familiar with the polymer clay. I'm fond of pewter for such items.

Pewter is an alloy of Lead and is no longer used. Brittania metal or "lead-free pewter" is what is used today.
I have done lots of castings and it's not too difficult but the wife says I can't set up a Bessemer forge in the basement.

If this cap badge is a success there is always a chance I can send one off to the makers of Clan Crests and ask a run to be made.

I have contacts that have already quoted me reasonable prices. Perhaps we can pursue that option in the future.

    Yippee! Count me in!

I'm saving up to get one of them nifty-keen four yard box pleated Newsome kilts in the XMTS tartan (hey, a Poor, Starving Liberal Arts Student can dream, can't he?). So, naturally, I'm going to need the various accoutrema to go with it.
