I found the tie on ebay for like $3! It has a bunch of cool little snowmen on it. Bloated ones, urban ones, clone ones, alien ones. its really cool.
Thanks guys guys, I think thats what Im going to wear. Its a toss up though, between that kilt, and my clan tank. Its also, got the red and the green. Either way, the hose, the shirt and the vest match with either kilt.

I agree with Chef about the sporran being a bit overwhelming. Especially in Hawaii?? But otherwise a VERY sharp outfit indeed!
How about some pleat pics to see that stripe?

Sharp. One of my great kilt ordering errors was getting the Prince of Wales in casual rather than semi-trad....
Good thing you didn't show the pleats...probably would have caught the fever...
I mean pleat shots are always nice, but by not posting me you've helped me restrain myself and I appreciate that...
Its not necessary to show the pleats...I can picture them in my mind sort of...
I imagine the pleat to the white stripe isn't a big deal...no biggie....
No, that's okay...don't need to see the pleats...well, I mean I wanna, but I don't really "need" to see the pleats.....I mean what's the big deal?....
Ron
Ummm...maybe some time when you're wearing the kilt, have fresh batteries in the camera...some extra time...and a friend to snap a pleat shot...maybe you'd post it....no need...just maybe....
Its not like I "need" a Prince of Wales in semi- trad...already have the causal and all....

Ron and McMurdo you guys should look away now....
For those that are curious about the pleats, heres a pic of them
I got a lot of mixed opinions when I was thinking about ordering this kilt. There were a lot of people wondering if the kilt would look good pleated to the white stripe. But I took the chance, and it paid off. I think it looks remarkable pleated like this, I absolutely love it.
As for the sporran. I don't have a semi-formal sporran. I wish I did, but I don't. I want to wear a white sporran because it goes with the season, and the white looks good with that tartan. The only other white sporran I have is my full mask artic fox, which I love, but that one is really flashy.

I didn't look, I didn't look, I didn't look....now where's Rocky's phone number? Don'tcha just love how he takes the extra time to match the belt loops to the kilt tartan?....I already have a Prince of Wales...I'll be fine....no need...just calling to chat....sett, stripe...doesn't really matter...I can't see it...right?....
Anyway, for those who might have the same fever, here's a pic of the Prince of Wales pleated to the sett...on a casual..

Looks very Christmasy.
I also find myself wearing more of my red kilts around this time of year, accented with green hose and/or green sweaters or shirts.
Nice.
