Scottish Santa?

We have a couple of fairly large ceramic Scottish Santas we use as part of the Christmas decorations at our house. We bought both of them last year. We haven't been able to find any this year, but we are still looking.

I like the song and the video is cute. One question though? Why is this good Glaswegian Santa Claus drinking Kentucky Bourbon?
