    Hi String,PV is kind of like Rayon. I don't have the correct spelling handy, but it stands for polyviscus or how ever you spell it. Hope that helps.

    In general, what is called Rayon in the U.S. is called Viscose in the U.K. So the U.S. term would sorta be Polyesther and Rayon...which sounds kinda weird. But despite the name confusion it is a great cloth. I'm well sold on it, owning 18 Polyviscose kilts now...all the fabric is from Marton Mills. Have some fun checking out their tartan selections.

    I need to get me one of those PV USAK semitrads one of these days, but I want the black and the green SWK shadow tartans first. Thanks for explaining the poly viscose better Ron. Guess there's always a list when it comes to kilts.
