UK Workman on Tin Man
So I'm an hour or so behind, but I just saw a character in the OZ based mini-series Tin Man on Sci-Fi wearing a caramel duck workman's Utilikilt...

My wife and I were watching it and as soon as the character appeared my wife called out "Utilikilt!".

I was wondering what that was. They were shooting day for night, so the scene was rather dim.

interesting. What's the character like? Is the kilt worn by an evil person? Strong? Manly? What are they saying about kilt-wearers?

The character who wears the kilt is only briefly seen. He's a resistance fighter, a farmer who opposes the evil tyrant princess. A solid, stand-up guy.

My first impression was "kilt!", but it looked like he was wearing pants or some really odd leggings underneath it.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if he was wearing high moccasins, or trousers of some kind, or... what.

Well, for those of us on the East Coast, it's repeating right now. I'll pay special attention at that point.

I won't be seeing the repeat for another three hours. Time is a funny, funny thing. 8)

Wow! I always imagined the Tin Man more as a tartan kind of guy!
